Elderflower & Rose Blush Cocktail

Made using: Tipsy Wight® Elderflower Vodka Liqueur

The perfect way to celebrate a special day with your sweetheart. This is a superb cocktail and trust us, it is really worth the effort! Our thanks go to Luke the Intoxicologist for this gorgeous recipe!


Ingredients
25ml Tipsy Wight® Elderflower Vodka
12.5ml Strawberry puree
12.5ml Rose syrup
12.5ml Lemon juice
150g Caster sugar
Prosecco
1 Rose
Method
Make a rose syrup by washing the petals of a single rose, then drying them overnight.
The next day add the dry petals to a saucepan with 100g caster sugar and 100ml water.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes
Strain and set aside the syrup to cool
Make the strawberry puree by blending 5-6 large freshly hulled strawberries with 50g caster sugar
Add all the vodka, rose syrup, strawberry puree and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker full of ice.
Shake vigorously, strain into a cocktail glass topped with prosecco
